Types of Light Sources - lightsources
Opening WordsOptics is another foundational field in physics. Every physicist, be they aspiring theorists, experimentalists, engineers or whatever else should learn Optics.
OpticsAn “Optics Course” is typicaly given in the first year of an undergraduate education in physics. And sometimes it’s split up into the courses “Geometric Optics” and “Physical Optics.”
And because Optics is about light, which is so fundamental to all of physics, it inevitably touches almost every other field in physics. Distinctions between Optics, Electromagnetism, and Quantum Mechanics, for example, can start to blur when studying light.
FUNLEADER CAPLENS 18mm f/8.0 is full frame and designed for street photography, a must for photography lovers. Like using a Lomo camera which puts more emphasis on creation rather than optical effect, you will enjoy capturing every wonderful moment with this ultrathin and ultralight lens.
The scope of this field is enormous and it played a crucial historical role in the development of many foundational fields in physics.
Such a course is of course foundational and basic. More advanced courses in Optics (or subfields) are given in later years or at the graduate level.

Scope of The SubjectOptics can be roughly defined as the field of physics that studies light: Its nature, its behaviour, and its interaction with matter.
