I am also interested in this adapter. Maybe we could try to 3D-print one. We need to find the bayonet models. The length of the adapter should be the difference between Flange Focal Distances in order to be able to focus infinity. FFD Pentax K = 45.46 mm FFD Olympus Pen F = 28.95 mm Length results 16.51 mm, which could give enough strength to the piece. 76 months ago (permalink)

thank you, TimVo. Strangely (or not), I have an adapter that allows me to use the Pen FT lenses on my digital Fujifilm X T-20. But that's all... Maybe I could double up with two adapters. For example, I see there is a Micro 4/3 one. Maybe: Pentax - Micro 4/3 to Micro 4/3 to Pen FT... Would the extra distance mess anything up? (I have a lot of Pentax K lenses, so I'd love to be able to use them on the Pen FT.) 77 months ago (permalink)

i found this info here: www.cameraquest.com/olypenf.htm The most important accessories were the lens adapters. The FT is thinner than any other 35 SLR. In theory, you can use any other maker's lenses if you have the adapter. Olympus made adapters for Nikon, Canon, Exakta, Pentax screw mount lenses. All of these could focus to infinity. It is very much worth noting that the Pen F/FT cameras with the Nikon adapter is just about the ONLY way to get a 1/500th flash sync with Nikon lenses. These adapters do not offer auto-diaphragm operation, you must do it manually. Olympus also made the very convenient OM to Pen F adapters, which allow the use of the OM's expansive and modern lens lineup. This adapter is particularly useful since OM lenses have a stop down depth of field button on the lens barrel. So, with OM lenses, it is very easy to focus white open, and then press the button to stop the lens down to shooting aperture. Lastly, also made was a Leica 39mm adapter, but this was good for close-ups only. 77 months ago (permalink)

Pentax KSLR

Hello, I've been searching the nets for an adapter to use Pentax k lenses on my Olympus Pen FT. Does one exist? Take care, m 6:13PM, 24 July 2018 PST (permalink)

meganazulejo: yeah, i would send them a message to confirm. they sell a lot of adapters so they probably got the pic wrong. also i would offer $50. 85 is too much. Originally posted 77 months ago. (permalink) TimVo (a group admin) edited this topic 77 months ago.

I mean something like this: www.thingiverse.com/thing:297634 with Pen mount instead of Sony and the right length. 76 months ago (permalink)

meganazulejo: it probably doesn't exist because when the k-mount came (mid 70's) the pen f had already been discontinued at least 5 yrs earlier. i have a nikon adapter. not sure what other adapters were made but i bet the mount existed in the mid 60s. good luck hunting. 77 months ago (permalink)
