Sure it would have been nice for it to support USB storage, but it’s a pretty weedy processor, and I’m not even sure that the variant they’re using has hardware USB-OTG support.

I’ll have to give it another go later when I’m not printing. I didn’t spend a lot of time trying to debug when I first connected it.

The microscope is the tool that gives us a closer look of the objects that we cant see with the naked eye. If the microscope were not there, we would have no idea about the existence of tiny cells or how plants breathe or how the rocks change over time.

Microscopediagram

The microscope is an instrument that can be used to see and observe every small object that is not able to be seen by the naked eye, such as cells. The image of any kind of object is magnified by at least one lens in the microscope. This lens bends the light toward the eye and makes an object appear larger than it is.

The compound microscope contains two lenses. The lens placed towards the object is called the objective lens, and the lens placed nearer the eye is called the eyepiece.

2023925 — The standard compound light microscope has 3 objective lenses to provide different magnification powers, resolving abilities, and fields of view.

10 uses ofmicroscope

The term compound refers to using more than one lens in the microscope. In the compound microscope, more than one lens is used for a better view of objects. However, the compound microscope is one of the types of the optical microscope.

The optical microscope makes a magnified image of an object specimen with the objective lens. Further, it magnifies the image with an eyepiece to allow the user to observe it with the help of the naked eye.  Sometimes the optical microscope, also known as a light microscope, uses one or more than one lens to magnify images of small samples with visible light.

Compound Microscope: The compound is defined as the microscope with a high resolution and it uses two sets of lenses and gives a 2-dimensional image of the sample. The compound microscope is used by the forensic department to detect the human fingerprints. It is also used in schools for academic purposes.

However, in my opinion (which I hope is what this forum supports) Bambu Labs does not respond well to requests for changes. A good example is the request for a wired data connection. They do publish a list of changes when new software is provided so that is a very good thing. It would just be nice if the list would be available on the forum so folks would see what is coming.

Simple Microscope: The simple microscope is defined as a magnifying glass with a double convex lens that has a short focal length. The simple microscope is used in microbiology labs to study the samples of algae, fungi etc. It is also used by the jewellers to get a magnified image of the fine parts of the jewellery.

We learned that the microscope is an instrument that can be used to see and observe every small object that is not able to be seen by the naked eye, such as cells. Sometimes the optical microscope, also known as a light microscope, uses one or more than one lens to magnify images of small samples with visible light. The lenses are kept between the sample and the observer’s eye to magnify the image so that it can be examined in detail. The optical microscope works on the principle of reflection of light.

I get the impression it was added as a “why not” addition, with a USB port being a pretty standardised connector for powering things these days.

It’s a pity that you can’t connect a USB stick to the USB port. The solution with the micro USB card is not really practical.

I have connected a cheap wifi IP camera to this USB port. It works without any problems. The Android app for it also works under Windows 11 in the Windows subsystem for Android in a window on the desktop.

In 1590, the first ever microscope was invented. LensCrafters Circa invented the Microscope. All science fields have benefited from using the microscope. It was an invention that was done again in the late 16th century from a modest Dutch eyeglass maker named Zacharias Janssen.

In the year, 1676 the Living cells were seen first under the microscope. Antonie van Leeuwenhoek was the one who built a simple microscope having a single lens for the examination of blood, yeast and insects. He is the first, who gave us the description of cells and bacteria.

The microscope works on the principle of a Simple Microscope. The working principle of a microscope is that when any sample is placed within the focus of the microscope, a virtual, erect and magnified image is then produced at the least distance of distinct vision from the eye that is kept at the lens.

I am using wyze cam og without any issues to monitor the prints. Produces decent time lapses and very fast video feed connection. IMG_20230308_1510521920×2560 251 KB IMG_20230308_1510262736×3648 457 KB 2023_03_19_10_21_441920×1080 154 KB

I tried to connect my Wyze camera to that USB port to power it up, but it didn’t work for me. Supposedly the port can handle 1.5A and I thought the cameras was 1A max supply, but no luck.

Microscopeparts and functions

Curious that connecting that didn’t work. It should just be a dumb 5V 1.5A supply, and the Wyze cam doesn’t even really require the full 1A that the supplied PSU can provide.

If you take a look at the board I believe you will see USB data pins are hooked up to the board and the two resistors in the data lines have not been placed, hence the board is likely able to accept data. Note this is the board that when the user replaces it must provide data back to Bambu Lab so that the board is “unlocked” and can be used.
