Für viele Menschen mit mehrfacher Behinderung oder schwerer Pflegebedürftigkeit reicht eine übliche Behindertentoilette nicht aus. Sie können ein Rollstuhl-WC nicht nutzen, benötigen eine Pflegeliege zum Wechsel der Inkontinenzeinlage oder eines Katheters. Die Kurgesellschaft Bevensen stellt ab sofort direkt hinter dem Kassenbereich der Jod-Sole-Therme eine „Toilette für alle“ zur Verfügung, die über solche speziellen Einrichtungen verfügt.

Eine sogenannte „Toilette für alle” ist eine geräumige Pflegetoilette, die unter anderem mit einer höhenverstellbaren Pflegeliege und einem Patientenlifter für den rückenschonenden Transfer vom Rollstuhl auf die Liege ausgestattet ist. Dank der Unterstützung von INTENSIVkinder Niedersachsen e.V. konnte der Hygienebereich zu einer „Toilette für alle“ umgewandelt werden. Der Verein spendete einen Lifter im Wert von rund 2800 Euro. Die Mittel für die Anschaffung des Lifters stammen aus zweckgebundenen Spenden. Das Siegel für die „Toilette für alle“ überreicht deshalb die Vorsitzende des Vereins, Rotraut Schiller-Specht.

Trifocal lenses are a generally more expensive option, and insurance companies tend not to cover elective parts of cataract surgery, like laser-assisted cataract surgery or the different types of lenses. So, if you choose to utilize a trifocal intraocular lens, you will need to pay out-of-pocket costs for part of the procedure. However, for many, the benefits of reducing dependence on glasses outweigh the costs.
