RF Cavity Filter features: Microwave Cavity Filters are available in bandwidths from .2% to 50%, in low loss configurations of 3 to 17 sections. Filters are available in a Q range of 1500 to 5000 with bandpass, band reject designs available.
Linear VariableEdgeFilter
All Band Reject Filters or Band Stop Filters made by Microwave Products Group, including Notch Filters, are available as a wideband or narrowband reject filter and can be customized to user specifications. For example, Notch Filters are most commonly applied to applications where it is necessary to attenuate a single frequency. However, utilizing our cross-industry experience, K&L Microwave can customize Notch Filters to reject two very narrow band signals while monitoring broadband for out-of-band spurious or harmonic radiations.
Viavilinear variable filter
All of the Vortex infrared linear filters exhibit high angular tolerance, extremely low change with temperature and very high resistance to thermal shock. Our range of standard infrared linear variable filters allows customers to explore the technology but at a relatively low cost:
With Band Reject Filters, also known as a Band Stop Filters, frequencies are attenuated in the stop band and passed outside these parameters. Notch Filters also fall under the category of Band Stop Filters, as they reject frequencies, but in a highly selective, high-Q form.
Infrared linear variable filters (LVF) are narrow band filters where the center or peak wavelength changes continuously along its length from one side to the other – and across the device’s full wavelength range. Vortex’s linear variable filters feature a narrow band profile with a “full width half maximum” (FWHM) bandwidth of 1% or 2% of peak wavelength.
