Blender camera

This is a Blender 3.0 (or later) node group for Geometry Nodes designed to implement Camera Field-Of-View (FOV) clipping of points outside of the camera view. Compatibility for Blender 2.92 and 2.93 is provided through an earlier version.

“There were a lot of times where we were trying something and it didn’t work. We finally figured out where I’m at now: just to take the same swing, let the ball travel another half-ball to another ball deeper and shoot it to left.”

Blenderpython setcamera fov

This is designed for projects using Geometry Nodes for scattering thousands of objects (trees, rocks, grass etc) to improve performance.

Hundreds of players showed up to compete in eight events: half-ball, wallball, wire ball, deadbox, chink, stickball, box ball, and step ball.

The performance improvements will vary depending on your scene and hardware. In my testing, these are the improvements (most significant to least significant):

On a recent weekend on a blacktop in Mayfair, a group of old-heads marked what was likely the last half-ball tournament of the year.
