PG&E's weather map allows people to monitor the humidity, precipitation, temperatures, wind speeds and wind gusts across 70,000 square miles of the company's Northern and Central California service area.
Angie Gibson, PG&E's vice president of emergency preparedness and response, has stated that the company is sharing this information with its customers in order to "enable them to get a better sense of weather and other hazards."
