This test measures the effects of permanent constraints on the tapes. A sample is applied on a surface and a weight is added. Sensors will then measure the time for the tape to peel off, if it happens. This test can be done in different heat and humidity conditions to simulate the effects of ageing on the tape.

This test consists of bonding two substrates in order to measure the necessary force used to break the bond. This allows us to understand the resistance of the adhesive in a substrate to substrate bond, whether they are identical or different. We have standardized test specimens made of different materials, which help us cover most of the standard applications (aluminum, steel, stainless steel, polystyrene, polycarbonate, ABS, glass and more).
Longer focal lengths may also appear to have a shallower depth of field because they enlarge the background relative to the foreground (due to their narrower ...
The depth of field is proportional to the square of the change in focal length. Doubling the subject distance increases the depth of field by four times while ...

This test method is intended to determine the tack properties of a pressure-sensitive adhesive. It applies to those adhesives that form a bond of measurable strength rapidly upon contact with another surface. Tack force may be measured as the force required to separate the adhesive from the adhered at the interface shortly after they have been brought into contact under a load equal only to the weight of the pressure-sensitive tape on a one square

Through our expertise and our testing, we are able to uncover solutions that are not immediately evident. For example, the use of an adhesion primer can sometimes offer a better bond for substrates that are difficult to bond with simple adhesives. In other cases, it is preferable to use an adhesive that is adapted to each substrate, avoiding extra steps such as sandblasting or primer application.

Field of view (FOV) is the maximum area of a sample that a camera can image. It is related to two things, the focal length of the lens and the sensor size.
Adhesivetesting standards
This test determines the resistance of the tape when it is faced with a constraint. Tongs are set at both extremities of the sample to hold it in place. The testing machine will then apply force to the tape until it breaks. This test also allows us to measure other factors such as elongation.
For this test, a mold is made for the tested adhesive in a dumbbell shaped specimen. We can then test the sample to determine the intrinsic characteristics of the adhesive (elongation, module, tensile and more). These tests can be made at different temperatures to better reproduce the conditions in which they will be used.
This test evaluates the performance of the adhesive tape. In the peeling test, a sample is applied onto a determined surface in order to measure the necessary force to peel it off. We can test on various surfaces, whether it’s metals, plastics or even glass.
The test consists of wrapping the glued joint in a deionized water saturated cotton, leaving it in a sealed polyethylene bag and maintaining the temperature at 70°C for a 1 day to 2 week period. The bag is then rapidly placed in a -20°C freezer for 2 hours. After having removed the bag from the freezer, it is opened and stabilized in standardized pressure and temperature conditions for 2 to 4 hours. The resistance of the glued joint is then measured and must be superior to 80%.
