A new student housing building project is underway directly across from the current student housing building. Construction activities associated with the project will result in increased noise levels at times. Construction work may be carried out between 7:00am and 9:00pm Monday to Saturday and between 9:00am and 9:00pm on Sunday and any Statutory Holiday as per city bylaws.

With a double-wall, hollow-core shape, Absorb H’s horizontal wings allow for more efficient absorption of sound. The direct-indirect luminaire holds a patent for its unique design, which combines high performance optics and the most advanced acoustic materials.

What does it mean toabsorb light

The absorbing felt panels are made from at least 40% post-consumer recycled PET bottles and are fully recyclable. With a large surface area, the panels decrease reverberation time and have an inherent sound absorption rate of 0.75 NRC.
