The Canon 50-1000mm Cine Servo is compact (as far as 1000mm zooms go) at 16 inches long and 15 pounds. It’s parfocal and minimum focus is 138″.  The zoom has a 12-pin serial connection for communication with the camera body, and the FIZ motor is removable. Note that if removing Canon’s motors to mount your own, the focus ring has both 0.8 and 0.5 pitch gears, but the iris and zoom have only 0.5 pitch gears. The lens has a front diameter of 136mm.
