Principle
Use new optical element with coaxial line scan light can be used for detection of bump on smooth surface. The light source is equipped with a grating element. When a bump is detected, the fringe image will be deformed, and the deformation position is the position of the bump.

Note: For bump points on smooth surface, it is easy to find the defect location and enlarge the defect by judging the bend of the stripe. Line scan system has a large detection area, and a relatively large light source can be selected according to the size of samples to meet the FOV. The uniformity line scan light is better than that of area scan light. 

■Detection of defects such as slight scratches on polarizing film

Note: For slight scratches on smooth surfaces, it is difficult to see the defects by conventional light. Use grating coaxial line scan light, the defective parts show grid clutter, highlighting the defects, which is conducive to machine vision recognition
