We calibrate Apollo 3.0 in accordance to ISO / IEO 17025. Our accreditation has been certified by SWEDAC and carries an accreditation number 10391. Our Apollo 3.0 radiometer calibration services are now offered in Chicago (USA), Houston (USA), Toronto (Canada), Stockholm (Sweden), Bilbao (Spain), St. Etienne de Tulmont (France) and Hinckley (U.K). It can’t be just anything, it has to have the right features to be able to truly be the thermal resistance your LED strip needs. Whatever your lighting project may be, it’s always a good idea to pick aluminium alloys. Aluminium is a material that creates the best heat sinks due to its good thermal conductivity. Copper heat sinks tend to be a lot more expensive than the aluminium ones, so it’s better to opt for the latter. Materials that you should avoid as it’s a poor thermal conductor are plastic and wood.
