Fiber optic lighting is a lighting technology that uses fiber optic cables to transmit light from a source to a desired location. The technology works by using a high-intensity light source, such as a halogen lamp or LED, to illuminate one end of a fiber optic cable. The light travels through the cable's core, which is made of glass or plastic, by repeatedly bouncing off the walls of the core at a shallow angle until it reaches the other end of the cable. It is used in architectural lighting, landscape lighting, and artistic installations. Fiber optic lighting is very flexible and can be used to create a wide range of lighting effects, including color-changing and twinkling effects
