Absorption of light is a phenomenon in which the light gets absorbed by the surface of the object on which it is falling. Rather than getting transmitted or reflected, it gets absorbed. This only happens when the object is made up of very dense material or is of opaque colour. In this, the absorbed light gets converted into energy. We can take an example of the process of photosynthesis in which the light that falls on the leaves gets absorbed by it and gets converted into a form of energy, which is later on utilised by the plants to make their food by using that source of energy.

Our fiber optic is sold by the foot, 0.75 cents per foot. Choose your size and add the number of Feet you need to cart. We measure by the foot but we sell in whole pieces, so for example if you get 3 feet or 6 feet you will get a full sized piece it will not be cut.
