The w201 Extra small pendant echoes our w151 Extra large pendant in being all about scale. In this case, we asked ourselves: how small can the pendant lamp become, without compromising on light performance or the integrity of its three distinctive cone shapes? In contrast to the grand gesture of its super-sized sibling, the w201 Extra small pendant makes a different statement: smaller and more intimate, but no less important.

The w201 Extra small pendant combines a COB LED, a reflector and a prismatic diffuser to create an unexpectedly generous spread of dimmable light.

w201 Extra small pendant is available in a brushed raw aluminium finish, with no added coatings or protective treatments. This allows for resource-efficient production, easier recycling, and a graceful ageing process. From the start, its naturally textured surface has a rich, tactile depth, with any marks from the production process only adding to its character. Over time, stains, fingerprints, and oxidation will evolve into a beautiful, distinctive patina.

Their designs have won awards including Designer of the Year 2011 and 2014 by Elle Décor Italia, Red Dot “Best of the Best” 2013 and 2014, The Bruno Mathsson Prize 2015 and Interior Designer of the Year by Elle Deco Japan 2021. In 2021, King of Sweden Carl XVI Gustaf presented them with The Prince Eugen Medal for outstanding artistic achievement in architecture (2020).
