I installed this on a high gain antenna that was in the immediate area of two HF antennas (100W) and VHF/UHF high gain antennas (110W) and didn't see much degredation. Just remember, there is no substitute for good antenna cable and a location that is generally free from noise. I wish I could do something about the mountains nearby too.

Helped improve the range of my indoor attic antenna significantly. Pairing this filter with the Prostick plus brought me from finding planes only 3-5nm away to a max around 160nm - from an antenna in my attic! I couldn't believe the difference. Highly recommended

I had noticed that over the years my reception was going from on the average 16 aircraft down to maybe one aircraft. Nothing else changed and I thought maybe there was a problem with the antenna or the Flightaware receiver. I then thought that there may be some new interference in the area that was not present before so I decided to give the Band Pass filter a try. After hooking it up my reception went from one aircraft back to 16! I'm not sure where the interference is coming from but this Band Pass filter made an instant difference!
