Bunded drum spill pallet stands are designed to be placed under a 205L drum (or drums) for secondary containment to prevent hazardous chemical / oil leaks or spillages contaminating surrounding areas. Should a drum fail the sump safely captures a minimum of 110% volume of the container so complying with the 2001 UK DEFRA pollution control regulations for safe storage in the workplace. Where there’re multiple containers the sump must not be less than 110% of the largest container’s storage capacity or 25% of their aggregate storage capacity, whichever is the greater. Drums or barrels containing any liquid other than water must be stored in a bunded area or sit on a dedicated bund stand.  All drum bunds are UK manufactured in 1, 2, 4 or 8 drum configurations from robust 100% polyethylene or galvanised steel ensuring broadband chemical compatibility for the safe storage, and spill spread prevention, of chemicals, oil, fuel, and liquids.

Starting back in May 2017, after an extensive training program, a team of eight officers was certified and ready to deploy drones based on a proposed pilot program. These drones have since been used for various purposes, including search and rescue operations, crime and accident scene documentation through 3D mapping, and enhancing officer safety during critical incidents by providing aerial perspectives for better situational awareness.
