The Wolfcom Halo police body-worn camera can also be used as a police in-car camera. Just use our Halo car mount and attach your camera to the windshield. When the officer gets into his vehicle, he can quickly mount the WOLFCOM Halo camera onto the windshield. When he exits his vehicle, he can remove it from the mount and attach it onto his uniform.

The WOLFCOM Halo incorporates GPS Geotag that stamps the longitude and latitude coordinates onto every video and picture file, frame by frame and picture by picture. When reviewing videos on our WOLFCOM Evidence Management Software, you'll be able to see the route of the video simultaneously on a map next to it and as the video moves, so does the dot on the map. The Halo Police Camera features a unique technology called One Touch Record (OTR). This technology allows officers to start and stop recording with the press of a button. To begin recording audio and video, simply press the center halo button. While recording video, you can simultaneously take photos by pressing the photo button on the side of the device. To stop recording, just press the halo button once more.

The WOLFCOM Halo Police Camera has its own proprietary docking station that's able to charge and download the files from up to 8 or 16 Halo cameras at once.  The docking station can be connected to a workstation via USB, allowing automatic transfer of videos, photos, and audio recordings to the backend solution, the WOLFCOM Evidence Management Software (WEMS). Once files have been transferred, the X2 proceeds to delete all data on the camera and begins charging it for the next days use, and files are then processed, tagged with all meta-data, and secured with a SHA2 hash.
