The functionality of a hydraulic power unit is centred around the principle of hydraulic force. When the motor activates, it drives the pump, which then pushes hydraulic fluid from the reservoir into the system. This fluid travels through a series of valves and hoses to reach the hydraulic actuators, which then perform the required work. After delivering energy to the actuators, the fluid circles back to the reservoir, where it's filtered and either cooled or heated before the cycle repeats.
