Let your visitors, employees, and customers know that food consumption or drinking in certain areas of your facility is forbidden with a functional, great no food or drink sign. Consideration should be given to the impaired abilities of the injured victim and the availability of others in the immediate area to assist.

When you store beverages or food in a chemical cabinet (or a refrigerator), chemical absorption by vapor happens. Then, chemical exposure takes place. If anyone should consume that spoiled food, it could lead to severe consequences. Therefore, eating or drinking in the lab is strictly forbidden.

Signs are available in rigid plastic for secure mounting, or you can opt for self-adhesive or magnetic signs, depending on location and use.

Emergency eyewash facilities and safety showers must be in unobstructed and accessible locations that require no more than 10 seconds for the injured person to reach along an unobstructed pathway. If both eyewash and shower are needed, they must be located so that each can be used at the same time by one person.
